The Erlangen Book Studies department is located in two historic buildings near the town centre. The department is therefore only a short distance from the university administration offices, the university's main lecture theatres (in the Kollegienhaus) and the university library.
The department's general office, as well as most of the staff offices, can be found in Katholischer Kirchenplatz 9. Professor Kerstin Emrich's and Professor Svenja Hagenhoff's office are located in Harfenstraße 16, as is the Book Studies library.
